Aloha and thanks for stopping by Margaritas In The Rain!
My name is Marisa, and I’m the gal behind the blog. Needless to say, I’m sliiiightly food obsessed.
I grew up in Hawaii but started this blog while living in Portland, Oregon. After 10 years of fun in PDX, I recently moved back to Honolulu with with my husband, Sam, and our
first child dog, Lola. You’ll read about both of them on this blog. A lot.
I’m also a new momma, and I have plenty to say about that, too.
But let’s get back to the food. I cook approachable recipes. With an island twist. Because, you can take the girl from Hawaii, but you can’t take Hawaii from the girl. In addition to my own kitchen concoctions, I occasionally post recipes from some of my favorite chefs, restaurant spotlights, travel adventures and more.
I work full time in marketing and social media, but Margaritas In The Rain is one of my favorite hobbies. I believe that there’s a perfect dish for every occasion. And just for the record, margaritas work with any occasion – from celebrations to rainy days.
